Posted on Updated on

The company is foraying into non-concrete related construction machinery and recycling segments.
Chennai, India, December 12th, 2016: SCHWING Stetter India (SSI), one of the leading concrete equipment manufacturing company has launched new products and technology innovations during Bauma Conexpo India 2016 that is taking place currently in Gurgaon between December 12 – 15th, 2016.  SSI, the concrete equipment manufacturing giant has always laid emphasis on indigenizing products and introducing newer product range, always keeping in mind of the customer requirements.

We will be showcasing a Heavy duty stationary pump SP 4507 for the first time. SP 4507 is a new development for the present trend of  high rise pumping requirement especially in growing real estate markets like India and abroad. This new age pump bridges the gap between SP3800 and SP4800 capacity pumps. This will cater to high rise segment where the present challenges of pumping the mix with stiff consistencies at a faster rate to around 300m vertical.

Other features

  1. The pump develops 203 bar pressure on concrete and delivers an output of 54 m3/hr in high pressure configuration.
  2. The pump kit and rock valve of the SP 4507 each have their own hydraulic circuit. It helps to handle high grade mix. The full power of the pump kit will be available – regardless of the switching movements of the rock. This ensures a quiet pump behaviour, high pumping capacity and protection of the components with less vibration resulting in less wear and tear.
  3. The new generation ‘rock’ comes with high efficient energy transfer on the concrete.
  4. New operator interface and emergency pressure release system will ensure safe operating environment.

The range of the newly launched products includes:

  • Heavy duty stationary pump SP 4507
  • Transit mixer with pump TMP 32.6
  • Batching plant M30Z with Inline Silo.
  • Smartec sludge pump
  • Recycling plant RA20
  • Flat top tower crane XGT T80
  • Wheel loader LW180K

In India, there is a huge market for sustainable technologies in waste water treatment. On an average, we waste around 62,000 million litres of water on a daily basis. The Smartec sludge pump will help to reliably convert sewage sludge, organic, industrial and kitchen waste into water that can be used for municipal purposes. This water can be used to water – parks, golf courses etc. and also be used for fountains.

The KSP range of sludge pumps can be used for the following:

  •  Waste Water Treatment Plants (WWTP) – Where sewage sludge is mechanically dewatered.
  • Waste Recycling – Recycling waste sludge, oil sludge, salt mud and radioactive waste
  • Construction industry – Recycling Bentonite Clay mud Mortar tailings
  • Mines, Refineries and Power Plants – Recycling red mud, gold slime, iron sludge, zinc sludge, metallic oxide sludge and Fly ash

IFAT India expo 2016 has provided the right platform for the introduction and launch of these products to the Indian market.”

Mr. V.G. Sakthikumar, Managing Director, SCHWING Stetter Sales & Services Pvt. Ltd said, “We hope that the Smartec Sludge Pump will help us become water conserving like Singapore, where water is continuously recycled and even served as water. While India is still in a nascent stage, when it comes to recycling sewage water, our equipment will enable local Government to use the recycled water for municipal use like watering plants in parks, etc.
